ABOUT ME JOHNNY SHILO
My Beginning
As far back as I can remember I was so passionate about performing. From the young age of 8, Even before I was given a guitar from a local music store owner in Wagga Wagga NSW Au I would listen to the radio and sing along. I taught myself to play my new gifted guitar and was invited to play at my parents friends parties and at the age of 16 turned professional, from there playing in bands and guest solo artist at the local dances, clubs, pubs and private functions and still do to this very day never looking back. With the encouragement from my mother I grew up with the great privilege of "Have guitar and voice will party. " now sharing my music journey with my best buddy Marion Shilo to me is the life.
My Favorite Work
At the end of the day the work I enjoy the most as an entertainer is when the audience feels connected to my performance and enjoys me singing retro covers and my own original music enough for me to receive a standing ovation and I have on the odd occasion, I feel so very humbled.
My Life Today
I am very fortunate to have been blessed with the ability and talent to be doing what I love and do best as my profession performing at the Country Music Festivals, clubs, pubs and private functions sharing my music and continually bringing enjoyment and pleasure to audiences of all ages. This job allows me to travel to gigs and meet interesting new people and reconnect with old friends. Now sharing my music journey with my best buddy Marion Shilo her being the lyricist of my/our original songs is the ultimate for me in life.

- Meeting Joanne was such a pleasure and a great thrill as she was a very lovely lady, so warm and friendly.
As I recall Joanne spoke about her brother Johnny Cash lovingly referring to him as (JR). She spoke about when they were children living and working on the cotton farm, with their dad working very hard. Times were tough with 8 children in the family, each child had their jobs to do and at night after dinner they would sit around the piano singing while their mother would play. Joanne said Johnny (JR) said to her... he would be a singer one day... and she though to herself * I'm not sure if that will happen.* How funny. Little did she know then that he would become a super star legend of Country Music (and for me one of my biggest inspirational artists.)To Joanne , Johnny (JR) was just her older loving brother equal to her other six sibling
- A CHANCE MEETING
- We had a memorable encounter with a fascinating lady during our stay at a hotel in Nashville. Chance meetings like these can often lead to unexpected and delightful experiences. It's wonderful when we had the opportunity to connect with someone unexpectedly and share a meaningful conversation.
- We didn't realize who she was until later in the conversation, it was a pleasant surprise to discover her identity. She made a positive impression on both me and my friend, and her willingness to engage in conversation with us both despite her busy schedule is truly admirable.

Taking a break when things aren't going as planned is a smart approach—it can help clear our minds and come back with a fresh perspective. We plan on keeping up the good work and enjoy the journey of creating music together!
